Ithaca College was turning 125 and was in need of a logo that inspired year long engagement with an approachable-professional voice that appealed to a wide range of audiences.

The goal was to create a brand experience that inspires joyfulness and communicates inclusiveness, and IC pride. I drew inspiration from the college's historical seal using the outline shape of the shield that illustrates the connection between past, present, and future. The logo would be used across a range of products including signage, banners, and apparel so it was important that it was clear of visual clutter so it would look great at large and small scale.
